Gazebo Installation & Care Guide
Thank you for choosing our gazebo! To ensure a smooth, safe installation and to maximize the lifespan of your gazebo, please read this guide carefully before assembly and daily use.
🛠 1. Installation Safety Precautions
A gazebo is a large outdoor structure. Proper preparation and safety awareness are essential for a successful setup.
- 🧤 Core Safety: Always Wear Protective GlovesPlease wear heavy-duty work gloves throughout the entire unboxing, handling, and assembly process. The edges of metal frames, panels, and screws can be sharp, and wearing gloves is crucial to prevent cuts or scratches.
- 👥 Multi-Person Assembly RequiredDo not attempt to install the gazebo alone. Due to the height and weight of the components, we recommend having 2 to 3 adults working together.
- 📐 Ensure a Level SurfaceBefore installation, choose a ground surface that is level, solid, and well-drained (such as concrete, a sturdy wooden deck, or flat ground). An uneven base causes uneven stress on the frame, compromising structural stability.
- ⚡ Check the WeatherChoose a clear, calm, and windless day for assembly. High winds can catch unanchored roof panels or frames, causing potential injuries or product damage.
- 🔩 Organize Hardware & Do Not Overtighten EarlyUnpack and inventory all parts against the manual before starting. During assembly, loose-tighten screws first to allow for adjustment. Once the entire section is aligned, go back and fully tighten all bolts.
🧼 2. Maintenance & Daily Care
Routine maintenance ensures your gazebo stays beautiful and durable against various outdoor elements.
- 🧹 Frame CleaningClean the frame using a soft brush or cloth with mild, soapy water. Avoid high-pressure washers, abrasive scrubbers, or harsh chemical cleaners (like bleach or acid), which can damage the protective rust-resistant coating.
- 🍃 Roof & Canopy CareFabric Canopies: Regularly clear off fallen leaves and debris. Clean stains with a sponge and mild soap, and ensure the fabric is completely dry before storing it.
- Hardtop Roofs (PC/Metal): After heavy rain or snowfall, promptly clear off accumulated water or snow to prevent excessive weight loads on the structure.
- ⚓ Regularly Inspect FastenersOutdoor wind and temperature changes can cause screws to loosen slightly over time. We recommend checking and retightening all connection bolts and anchors twice a year (Spring and Fall).
- ❄️ Winterization & Seasonal ProtectionIf you have a soft-top/fabric gazebo and live in an area with harsh winters, heavy snow, or high winds, we strongly recommend removing the fabric canopy, curtains, and netting before winter and storing them in a dry, indoor space.
